A Registered Agent is also known as a Resident Agent or Statutory Representation. They act on a company’s behalf to receive legal documents such as service of process (e.g. liens, subpoenas, deposition notices, etc.). Additional services include handling of annual report notifications, tax correspondence and other notifications from regulatory agencies. The registered agent must maintain a street address (not a P.O. box) within the jurisdiction and be available during business hours.

Services include monitoring of your entity for compliance, and notifying you immediately when service of process or other legal, tax, or regulatory documents are received. Specifically, notification is sent via email, phone call, mail, overnight service, or however you indicate when you set up the services with Professional Filing & Search Services, Inc. We provide this service on an annual basis for only $120 per year (with automatic renewal). Clients will be billed automatically at the end of their annual service to continue registered agent services for the following year. The registered agent is typically appointed upon formation but can be changed at any time.
